Maddison Graduated

I am sure for some of you this is no big deal. HOWEVER, here in Arkansas we have 5th grade graduation... My baby girl finished this year and we couldn't have been prouder. She loved her teachers from the start to end. We equally loved them. Maddison had great grades and she finished with something special this year. She finished tied for first place with 489 AR points..... For those of you who dont know that is a reading program. The librarian said noone had been over 300 much less 400.... Way to go Maddison and Kinley.... The picture with the flowers is Maddison and Mrs Wade... Mrs Wade was her AWESOME K-teacher. The one with her arm around heer neck, that would be the FABULOUS Ms. Alexander..... Ms. Alexander was Maddisons 5th grade teacher and we would have had NO other way! Ms. Alexander is one of those you lover her or hater her teachers.... WE LOVED HER!
Thank you all at Pinewood for seeing my baby girl through!!!! We will miss you all tremendously.
Thank you Lord for each day you have given. As we journey through this next level (middle school) be with us, guide us and keep us all strong. Help us all to see you in EVERYTHING we do...

Where to start after so long!!!

I wish I could go back and start form where I left but I am afraid way to much has happened....
So in light of it all I will say,..... HOWDYYYYY!
Okay so much for being funny....
Wow for something I love so much I sure have been a slagger. But with all good reasoning.
As many of you know I started working at the hospital in March while still working at school... This wore on my body pretty quickly.
School is done and down to one job. The girls are enjoying the summer and even with me working they still love it. We are blessed to have a great sitter this yr. It is very nice to be able to get up and go to work and not have to wake, feed and dress three kids to go somewhere.
There is alot of catching up to do so I will try to do it as we go....

Tomorrow we will go to the water park with some friends. I am going to attempt to down load some pictures and I will label them as we go....

I hope your summer has been a great one this far...
HUGS!!!

Mikel Update!

For those of you who know this a little while back we got some tough news on Mikel.
Well we got some good news yesterday after a repeat MRI.....
The "tumor" that they saw, is not a tumor.....
Yesterday what they say they see now is most likely a blood vessel that was collecting blood due to her headaches. (hard to explain on here) But it is alot smaller and the doctor was satisfied that if Mikel didn't have anymore series of bad headaches we would see him with a repeat MRI in 3 months..... YEAH and to GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!

Have a Blessed Day!!!!

Happy New Year What ?!?!!!!

Okay so I could say HAPPY NEW YEAR- Or I could say Oh my goodness where did the month of January go? This is my first blog since December 25th and I have alot of pictures to add as we catch up. However, I will take a few minutes to tell you why it has been almost a month since my last blog.

Our trip to Tennessee went off without a hitch. We came home enjoyed our week before the new year and BOOM!!!!!!!!!!

January 1st, 2009 I woke at 4:30 a.m. with a horrible headache. I got up and took some medicine and went back to bed. I then woke at 7 a.m. and felt very "wierd" if you must. My head was killing me and I couldn't move my left leg. It felt numb, ( you know it feels when it is asleep ). I called my husband and he called his mom immediately. Well my blood pressure and all was fine but my headache was massive and I was scared. After getting to the E.R they admitted me. The doctor told my mother in law he was trying to rule out stroke!!!! WHAT???? I didn't care I was in alot of pain and my head was killing me. My wonderful pastor and his wife came and sat with us. Well I guess I could say my mom in law and hubby because I was knocked out....
I stayed in the hospital three days, and then came home and was still not well. While in the hospital they ruled out it was a stroke but said it was a migraine. YIKES!!! I spent the next 5 days at home on so much medicine that well, just say I didn't even know who I was. I had some special visitors each day and I don't remember them being there. My mom came from Tennessee and it wasn't until her third day here I knew she was here.
I am thankful to report I haven't had any other headaches. I have been so tired though. I missed a week of work and am still catching up there. I don't have the strength I need but I am resting and getting there.

On January the 17th Brian and celebrated our anniversary. We have been married 11 years and he is great. I think the time he took taking care of me, just lead up to us both being very thankful for each other.

The girls are all doing well. They have gotten into the groove of being back at school and getting back on a pattern. No they dont like it but hey I dont either. it's too cold to be out to go anywhere.

While my mom was here she did some after holidays cleaning. I am proud to say the girls and I have accomplished keeping the house and laundry done up. Mom taught the girls a few things why she was here and I know she will be proud......

I am so thankful for the new year. It started out a lit' crazy but God has seen us through. We are so blessed. I have some Christmas pictures and I will catch up. But I had to start somewhere or I would never get going.

Have a GREAT Sunday my fellow bloggers!!!
